Established in 1961, Lake Trucking Company is a licensed Motor Carrier located in Leesburg, FL, 40 miles north of Orlando, FL. We operate from our state-of-the-art 20,000 square foot frozen and refrigerated distribution center. Our facility is designed to cross-dock and store large amounts of product.
For over fifty years we have specialized in the transportation of highly perishable products, such as fresh seafood, fresh meat, produce and flowers. Our facility is HACCP and FSMA compliant and meets and exceeds all FDA regulations.
A large portion of our business is transporting fresh seafood for our sister company, Stokes Fish Company, as well as for many other wholesale seafood distributors in the United States. This seafood is imported from South America, Mexico, Norway and Scotland, as well as from the Gulf ofMexico, and we transport seafood to all of the service areas shown in the map in Where We Go.
In addition to the fresh seafood, we transport fresh meat from the Midwest and Rockies back to Florida. At our facility we are able to break down full truck loads of meat and distribute them to multiple locations for our customers.

Partial Truck Shipments
We specialize in Less Than Truck Load (LTL) shipments, which allows you to ship with Lake Trucking despite the size of your shipment. Lake Trucking has the infrastructure such as terminals, local pickup and delivery trucks and staff that is required to put LTL loads together. This allows us to perform timely refrigerated LTL shipping out of Florida. In addition, as an established and efficient LTL carrier, we can also perform Truck Load (TL) shipments with ease.
